Digital temperature control runs the cooling fans. Dual vents with rain shrouds let the heat out.

    Set the amp on the brackets. Plug it into the outlet inside.

Q1Will my amp fit?

If it is on the list above, yes, with no modification to the amp or the box. Other amps can go on the universal brackets of the NP17AV. Bigger gear, or anything 19-inch, goes in the rack family. Not sure? Call 866-660-9434.

Q2Will it cook my amp in the Florida sun?

No. Every streaming amp model has digital temperature control, cooling fans and dual vents with rain shrouds. For installations exposed directly to the sun, we offer light gray enclosures and solar shields with the same features.

Q3Does Wi-Fi work through the box?

Polycarbonate and fiberglass enclosures are RF transparent, which is why Altelix sells the same boxes for Wi-Fi access points. Steel and stainless rack cabinets are not, so plan on a wired connection there.
